Professional Things
Fiid is a technical architect by profession. He has worked in a number of startup, as well as more established companies on everything from implementing new enterprise software products in Java to migrating enterprise email and calendaring, with some systems and network administration and security, Ruby on Rails, C, and Python development, selection of products and components, and management thrown in along the way.
Fiid most enjoys bringing new products to bear, building teams and companies and innovating. He has worked to bring 2 version 1.0 enterprise software products to market, and worked on numerous releases of enterprise systems.
Fiid also has a great deal of experience in the consulting and professional services arena, having worked at more than 4 consulting firms over the years.
Private Pilot
Fiid got his private pilot certificate at West Valley Flying Club in August 2008. He is current and checked out in the Cessna 172SP and enjoys sightseeing and cross country flights.
Lemons Racer
Fiid is a founding member of the epic “Bernal Dad’s Racing” team in the 24 Hours of Lemons, and has driven at both the Altamont and the Thunderhill races.
